If you wear men’s size 6.5 to 9, start out with a deck width of 7.5 to 8.0 inches. If you wear shoes 9.5 or larger, we recommend getting a deck between 8.0 and 8.5 inches. In general, skaters who like flip tricks, manuals, ledges, flat bars and technical tricks usually prefer boards on the narrower side of the spectrum (7.75 – 8.25 inches).

Usually, the width of the skateboard ranges from 6.5 inches to 10.5 inches. But mostly, in the market, you will see the width range of 7.5 inches to 9.5 inches. However, it is good to have a skateboard with the deck’s width according to shoe size. The weight of the mini-size skateboard ranges from 6.5 inches to 7.5 inches.

To start, we recommend a deck width of 7.75″ or 8.0″. With this size, you can have enough space to spread your feet. And you’ll also get comfort and stability from this size. What beginners need most is a balance, and this is the perfect size for you.

Usually, a board has a length that can vary from 28 to 33 inches (70 to 80 centimeters). The deck is divided into three sections: the nose (front), the wheelbase and the tail (rear). To differentiate the nose from the tail, a deep look to the deck will tell you. Normally, the nose is a little wider than the tail.

The deck width does not depend on your skill or newbie or pros, it depends on your age, height, or shoe size. The deck size comes in 7 to 10 inches wide. A perfect wider deck always gives you great stability when skateboarding. A long-width deck feels uncomfortable and needs more energy to ride.

This skateboard size is great for skaters who are below five years of age, or under three and a half feet tall. It has a width between six and seven inches, and length between twenty-seven and twenty-seven and a half inches.

When your shoes are men’s 6.5 to 9, you should go for a board that is wide by 7.5-8 inches. And if you wear larger than 9, get a deck having a width between 8 to 8.5 inches. Skaters who are in the flip tricks, ledges, technical tricks, or flat bars, mostly prefer narrower boards having a width something from 7.75 to 8.25-inch.
